BiographyEducationAdmissions & Affiliations

Jackson was born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts. After high school, he toured colleges across the nation from Vermont to Oregon before arriving in Colorado. Within the first few hours in the state, he fell in love with the mountains and knew he had found his new home. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he met his wife, Megan, and studied philosophy. Through his degree, he honed his thoughtful and creative approach to problem-solving and gained a deep appreciation for the role empathy plays in zealot advocacy. These lessons drew Jackson to the practice of law, charting new territory as the first attorney in his family.

Jackson attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he was drawn to the theatrical, fast-paced nature of trial work. During law school he served as a clerk for the presiding criminal judge in Colorado’s 2nd Judicial District and worked as a student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic. After his graduation in 2015, he began his practice in the areas of criminal defense and family law. Jackson’s practice has now grown to include civil litigation where he employs his trial attorney mindset: work towards settlement by preparing for trial.

Whether you have been charged with a criminal offense, you are facing a fundamental change in your family dynamic, or you need advice and representation in civil proceedings, you may be reaching out to our office on what feels like the worst day of your life. Jackson appreciates this position and prides himself on his commitment to personal service to help you navigate these challenges with honesty and understanding.

Outside the practice of law, Jackson is hard at work in his primary position of being a dad to his son and daughter. You can find Jackson and the family spending time in the mountains, hunting for live music, or chasing his Pembroke Welsh Corgi around the backyard.
